About Me

Aleksandra Ola Kalinowska

I was born and raised in Warsaw, and my life has always revolved around visual storytelling. After graduating from the European Academy of Photography, I worked as a professional photographer for nine years. Working on photoshoots—both commercial and private—as well as on film sets taught me how to find the perfect light, work with color, and frame reality from unique, surprising perspectives.

Over time, I felt a need to translate fleeting moments into something more tangible. Today, I bring my fascination with nature and travel to the canvas. I work primarily with acrylic paints, enjoying the process of experimenting with various techniques and occasionally combining different artistic mediums. My creative process is deeply personal: my artroom is always filled with good music, the aroma of green tea, and the quiet companionship of my dog, Leia. Through unconventional perspectives and semi-abstract forms, I invite you to view the world in a new way.
